Call for Presentations

Technical Session Topics

The Technical Session Committee invites you to submit abstracts for presentations or papers to be presented at the conference.  The primary categories are as follows:

E-Government
All levels of government are engaged in efforts to implement web-based and kiosk-based services. These tools assist government agencies in their efforts to increase efficiency and level of service in times of shrinking budgets.  Sessions in this track will look at key components of e-government from the perspective of GIS:

Seamless Government Information Access: What it is and where it is going; what tools and integration efforts are required.

Successful Implementations: You have seen the software promos, now how does it really work? Papers discussing successful implementation strategies, difficulties, and coming trends are sought.

Technical Design Issues: What are the design and technology considerations; what tools have been successfully used; what have been the biggest integration challenges?
