Call for Presentations

Technical Session Topics

The Technical Session Committee invites you to submit abstracts for presentations or papers to be presented at the conference.  The primary categories are as follows:

Digital Terrain Modeling
Many techniques have been developed for capturing digital terrain data.  Most of these systems employ active imaging sensors.  Examples include Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (IFSAR).  Many of these technologies were developed for terrain mapping in conditions not suitable for traditional photogrammetry.  Additionally, high-resolution space-borne imagery, such as IKONOS, has made stereo imagery available for use in planimetric and topographic mapping. This category also pertains to papers related to standard digital terrain modeling and analysis processes.  Some suggested topics are:
Contour Interpolation and TIN-Based Surface Analysis Viewshed and Line-of-Sight Applications
LiDAR Mapping and Filtering Applications LiDAR: Is it Continuous or Discrete?
LiDAR Bore Sighting and Flight Line Misclosure Integrating LiDAR and Photogrammetry
Slope Analysis and Erosion Raster-Based Surface Analysis
IFSAR Applications Watershed Mapping
Positional Accuracy of High-Resolution Spaceborne Imaging Systems 3D Data Structures and GIS
