Technical Session Topics

The Technical Session Committee invites you to submit abstracts for presentations or papers to be presented at the conference.  The primary categories are as follows:

Data Accuracy Assessment:
Issues & Methodologies
One of the most difficult issues in the GIS field is assessing the accuracy of the data in use.  Accuracy can come in many forms: positional, attribute, temporal accuracy and scale.  Features without discrete boundaries present an even more difficult problem.  Papers discussing accuracy assessment with respect to statistical evaluation of attribute accuracy, multi-temporal and multi-scale integration and evaluation of positional accuracy are sought.  Some suggested topics are:
Problems Presented by Using Data from Multiple Dates and Scales Statistical Sampling Techniques for Accuracy Assessment
Horizontal and Vertical Accuracy Accuracy of Orthoimagery
Assessing the Accuracy of Remotely Sensed Data Temporal Currency
